Welcome to this my new weblog, which shall contain tasty morsels of books I am reading.

I greatly enjoy reading classic literature, and at times I come across paragraphs and quotes that are just so amazing that I want to save them. Thus I created Belphoebe (read Spenser’s Faerie Queene to find out who it’s named after) as a repository for all the literary tidbits I gather. Hopefully you will like them too, and perhaps they will even motivate you to read the books from which they are taken.
